Gabba Gabba Doo Doo

When I was a little girl I remember trying to build a house out of Lego blocks and it always seemed to end up uneven. I wonder if that is a metaphor for my life. Every time I think back to my progress as a child I can't help to draw a distinct line with it to my present. I am not saying that I hate my life, blah, blah, blah or anything of the sort - just that I find it uneven, just like the Lego block houses.

On a different sort of note -- I hate Ebay even more than I used to. CORRECTION: I hate Ebay when I am the one selling, because I must admit I have found great deals when buying. I really like it when I am the one saving money, but I absolutely hate it when I have to undersell an item because people don't think I have a fair enough price on it...so awesome.

I also think I really need a new brain --- it scares me how much I forget things and I am only 26?! Am I? Maybe I have forgotten my age too...wouldn't surprise me one bit. I do believe I have a reason to be this forgetful -- it definitely runs in the family (BIG TIME!).

Oh yeah -- the title -- I have found myself watching truck loads of  "Yo Gabba Gabba" episodes because my son absolutely loves it. Don't get me wrong, I love watching him watch it and learn a couple of gestures but it is so repetitive that after 5 minutes of watching all I want is to become deaf...bad I know. Oh well! Just as long as he is happy I will be alright.

Oh Glee

So I am always behind on everything when it comes to media, trends, movies --- you get the idea.  I only get to watch shows and movies that surface on Netflix most of the time so...yeah...this week I decided to start watching the T.V. show Glee - and I really like how it started but I am still on the 1st season and I don't know if I like where it's headed. It's a bit corny but I like musicals so I thought I would give it a shot --- I guess I've seen way worse. It's always nice to find somethingn new to watch - that doesn't happen often enough with me and I end up watching the same DVD episodes from C.S.I. (Vegas) and Seinfeld. Don't get me wrong - I really like watching them over and over again, but sometimes I need something new and different!

I took some new shots of Abigail and Rayen Elise together since they are a couple now but I really want a better camera --- the Iphone just doesn't cut it, not to mention a better set for photographs with good lighting. I always end up having to go outside to my balcony because I have perfect lighting - but the backround is horrid!!!! I really want to move out of this cave of an apartment with the thin-a** walls, and the noisy, inconsiderate neighbors. /Sigh

Abigail always manages to look fantastic!

I don't like this photo much but it's the only one I managed to edit with both of them in it...

What Happens Next?

WARNING: GRIPE POST!!

So the hubby just got his x-mas present today ---a new laptop. Needless to say I was dreading this day because: technology + men = girl being ignored. Now I have to run around after our son trying to get him not to play with another "tech toy". Shake my head!

Again I have to gripe about USPS --- I checked my tracking information for my new dolly yesterday and to my excitement she was already in town and according to the information she was out for delivery. I paid no more mind to that thinking that I would receive her in the late afternoon ---like always--- but after a day of shopping for x-mas presents at the mall I come home ---the day is getting from bad to worse because the rain became freezing rain and then slush and now its snow --- and then I find that the package is nowhere to be seen at the office (where it should be) --- no notice in the mailbox (like the site says) and now I am left wondering what happened...I HATE THAT!!!!

I did find time to finally put up  my x-mas tree yesterday morning and decorate it sparingly - silver and blue -- I think it's cute. I got some cute gifts for my mom and my sister, something for my brother and brother-in-law as well. Now I need to get something for the hubby, my nephew and my dad and my son ---too many guys >.<

The snow is really making the apartment cold --- BLAST! *Shakes fist at winter fairy*

Swaps

I sold my Fairyland MNF Luka's small or cutie bust body because I wanted a large bust body. Not a day passed after that and I found another MNF doll for a great sale price on the marketplace. Seller didn't know the body specs so I told her to send me a few pictures and there it was: cutie legs and large bust! GOLD! So now I am welcoming home a Lishe - but probably getting rid of her head...I only wanted the body!

I am putting up my Parabox Obitsu Haruka on the marketplace as a FEELER since my other two tinies are not selling and I really want to be able to get a boy MNF soon. Fairyland has consumed me ---

I figured out a lot about my minifee girls this week as well. I know that I want Abigail and Rayen Elise to be a same sex couple. So Caroline is stuck looking for her male soul-mate which will hopefully be a MNF Kyle from Fairyland (of course!). So nice to finally have a personality to go with my girls!

So Caroline got a delicate face-up by Overnight Flight, a.k.a.: Beesou/stupidaz, on DoA and she looks darling!
Caroline's new face, and the manicured hands!
The new addition - Minifee Lishe :)

Luka!

It's finals week! I'm done with one final - now on to the next three - w00t!

I received my MNF Luka from Fairyland this Saturday (12-10-11) - and she is gorgeous! I am glad that I decided to switch to her mold - I will probably want to get a Rheia again later on but that's okay, that's what I get for being indecisive.

I get to play with my dolls tomorrow for my one of my final projects - it's going to be fun! Now I leave you with some pictures of Rayen Elise!

Happy as can be!

Things Must Happen For A Reason

Right after complaining about how long my Obitsu was taking to get here, the next day she arrived! Oh - don't you just love when that happens, when you feel bad for complaining about nothing really?! So I also received my CH Bisou Ai Pepe (which is a lot smaller than I originally thought, but that's what I get for not asking questions) - she is a cutie!

I am upset with the ending of this semester for a couple of reasons, but the most important reason is that I really, truly believe that I worked my butt off this semester and all I have is an 88% average to show for it...very upsetting - and it's not just in one of my classes, but pretty much all four! I want to do a serious face-plant on a hard wall to make myself numb to this fact. I guess I will have to settle for B's - *pulls out remaining hair*

No really - my hair is fine! :D
So life is awesome - and my child keeps growing and learning - and he is constantly on the move now, so I can rarely ever take a decent picture anymore - I miss the days when he was unable to walk..../sigh.

I keep swapping out my resin family, I can't seem to get it right - I seem to be too addicted to Fairyland at the moment. I really want to get a MNF boy now and that will have to wait a bit. My recently purchased MNF Luka should be on her way today, and here are a couple of pictures from my new resin additions:

P.O. How I Hate Thee...Sometimes...

So I've been waiting for a Parabox Obitsu Haruka for three weeks and the Mexico post keeps playing ping pong with who's responsible, since they insist that it has left Mexico, and it has reached the US, while the P.O. here tells me it's still in Mexico. Argh! *Pulls out hair*
Talking about hair...I just got my hair cut and highlighted today since the last time which was three and a half months ago! It looks good! I like it!

Back to BJD news: I have a Minifee Luka on a short lay-a-way and I am selling my Rheia to cover the costs - I am excited about that! I will finally have a Luka! Yay! I am also waiting on a CH Bisou Ai Pepe which I traded for my Felix Brownie elf dollie - I am thrilled to be welcoming some new dollies home soon!

School has temporarily calmed down - but I still have finals week to look forward to and some loose end to tie with quizzes / project before then...shouldn't be too hectic! *Crosses fingers*

This is the Luka girl!
