Hate Mail

So again I come here to gripe about the incompetence of the USPS mailing system. Sometimes they work out but sometimes they just screw me over BIG time - so much so that I am seriously thinking of not using USPS anymore. This non-patient asshole is filing a claim of non-receipt of an item sold through eBay and sent out on the 9th of this month, and by collateral PayPal is holding some of my funds because of it and that just makes me very mad. I have proof of sending/tracking information but I cannot file a 'trace' report with USPS for the package whereabouts until after 21 days after the item was sent, and the person obviously did not give a damn and still filed a complaint against me through PayPal after I had told him what the person from the P.O. had told me- but the wheels are hopefully in motion now after I have submitted my proof to PayPal. I just can't win with some people - SO RUDE! I just have to wait until Monday, January 30th to be able to run a trace on the damn package so that hopefully someone in the mailing world knows the location/whereabouts of this box. *Crossing fingers*

Enough with that episode - I am happy to add that I have a couple of new faces within my resin collection! A Fairyland MNF girl sleeping Karsh head, and a Full Set Mirwen that I totally lucked out on from DDE, since she was in stock and I only had to wait 3 days for her to arrive!!! How awesome is that?! I also have many new props that I need to take pictures of my girls and boy with - because they are positively cute and awesome!

Life Is Good!

No - I am not a religious fanatic - but I do believe in being thankful every now and again for the many things I DO have --- and today, after a headache - I am thankful for life. Yes - it might seem like a weird way to go about being thankful - after all nobody likes headaches, but when I think about why I have a headache in the first place, I do have to smile. I am lucky to have the opportunity to spend time with my son, and then go shopping, and afterwards go to my class in the evening and then come home to my loving husband that will ignore my bitchy attitude and still ask me how my day was, and offer me some food. I have to smile.

Don't know where to start -

Okay, so I have been trying to save up for a good camera for a while now so I finally put in an Amazon order for a:

Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR with 18-55mm IS II Lens and EOS HD Movie Mode (Black)

and this is exciting news, becuase now I can finally enjoy taking better pictures of my beautiful dolls - and of my son of course! And maybe a few of myself!

I sent out 2 MNF heads for face-ups in February, and since they need to travel back and from the Phillipines I probably won't be seing them until March - but I can't wait to see how they turn out!

I have some bjd accessory commissions in the works as well! I am excited for some food from snowfernclover, known as Cindy Teh @ Etsy, some miniature "My Little Pony" plushies from deastar , and some crochet hats from Christina Heederik! I am so excited for the progress report on these items - I can't wait!

I am so beyond excited right now! I just purchased a MNF Woosoo head that will be my first MNF boy and I have a killer face-up lined up for him in February! I got a MNF Kyle but will more than likely be selling his head to fund the woosoo face-up! *Jumps up and down* I love it when things fall into place so quickly!
